Follow-up Comment #12, bug #18944 (project mypaint):

Hmm, i must've been reading old docs then. The reason i think it's a WinTab
related fault is because of the values it outputs. Let me explain:

Lets say that the X coordinate of the tablet can be from 0 to 5000 - putting
the pen on the far left will show 0 and the far right will be 5000. On the
Wacom tablet, if i use a "Screen Portion" to make the range smaller, far left
will become, lets say 100 and far right 4900. And this is what we want WinTab
to output.

On the Hanvon tablet, setting screen portion does not do this. Even with
"Screen Portion" on, far left is always 0 and right is always 5000 no matter
where the mouse is. So the mouse will appear at one place, but the brush will
read the absolute coordinates from WinTab and draw in a different place.

This means it is probably the tablet driver's fault. But it does not explain
why it works in Gimp and Inkscape! Is it possible that they have WinTab
support disabled? Something like a "Mouse Mode with Pressure"?
