Follow-up Comment #1, bug #20068 (project mypaint):
Reproduced under xubuntu 12.04 and rev 63fe3d5. It doesn't happen every time:
the interval between steps 4 and 5 needs to be very short. Some weird timing
issue?
Joshua: you may find that pressing Escape will cancel the bogus grab and get
you back to a working MyPaint right away. If not, make sure you're running the
latest HEAD.
