Follow-up Comment #3, bug #20334 (project mypaint):
Depending on what you mean by 'ever again'. Only after saving and then loading
it could I get it to paint on that area. So, I wasn't able to 'ever again in
the same undo stack', only by effectively getting a new instance of the
supposedly same document. It was like painting on paper with a square cut out
of it.
