I used about two brushes, mostly this one with brown preview, the ability to change the lightness depending on speed/pression is a good idea. I believe I used another brush for the hairs of the wear that render this kind of things easier ???Umm... I have to display the brush names somewhere ;)
Yes :)I seen the icons are png editable with other tools, but it could be better to have a little text field, that keep information in the PNG (or myb and write it in PNG ?)
yes, nothing was in this directory. Only the brush I created based on charcoalI'd guess it is bi003 (around number 24 in the default list, rather redish preview; slow size change, moderate lightness change). The brown ones seem too blurry or too hard-edged for what I see, unless you got an old version lying in ~/.mypaint/brushes/.

that's only a larger version of charcoal with few parameters changes.I tried to reorganize a little brushes to have most used first and to have them sorted by kind of brush.
I sorted pencil/charcoal/this brush together and used them to do this : http://popolon.free.fr/mypaint/lapin.pngThe lower cirle is only with pencil trying to find the feeling of the natural color pencils, but with the avantage, that in mypaint, this never become black but only go to the used color or a mix of both (with smudge).

There is a big spam problem that is still unsolved. I don't want to put my time into this. I can only hope that Øyvind (who created the forum) finds a solution.
