hi Jarosław,

Thanks for offering your time on this. However I prefer to wait at least one
year between website redesigns. Mainly because of the overhead involved for
me. So far we had:

March 2008 redesign by thedarkmaster
June 2009 redesign by SeanJM
Later this year we had the move of the wiki to the new hosting.
And about forums, the current one is already the 2nd take, too.

That's enough infrastructure overhead for this year. I'm happy with the
current webpage / forum / wiki / mailing list / whatever we have; sure they
could be better, but I see no major flaws; let's keep them for this year.

Let's focus on the release instead.

If you want to make changes to the current page, ask SeanJM, Jonnor or
Griatch. They got my trust with this, and if I really dislike something I
can still complain later ;-)

Let me also comment your design (in case you want to go for it next year):

- This is an open source project, not a freeware download!
  - Development section must be clearly visible. Yes we care about
users, but we care just as much about developers. And we care more
about users who care about the latest development :-)
  - The oversized green Download button makes me expect ads and crapware;
not some kind of software that I can trust. It looks like we are
trying to force the software down the throat of the visitor.

For comparision, take a look at http://krita.org/ , I think they did quite a
nice redesign (in their own style). Also note that most pages about open
source projects have well visible content about development / getting involved.

bye,
Martin
