Let this be a short introduction ... First of all I would like to express my gratitude for creating MyPaint. Looks like an application with a lot of potential and almost exactly what I was looking for as an addition to Gimp.
I would also like to help with the development ... as much as time will allow. Because I have apparently crashed into this community somewhere in the middle of the release cycle I will not immediately start to discuss my "great ideas", but rather wait a bit to see what has already been done or is in the process of making (Being a long time SVN user I am not all that used to this GIT multi-repository setup). One small thing that I wanted to do just to get more familiar with the code is to make MyPaint compliant with the XDG Base Directory Specification [0]. Would that be OK or has someone some reason against it?
