hi It's getting time for a new release, we have many unreleased new goodies in the git version. We need at least two weeks (better three) of string freeze for translators.
What do you think about: - string freeze in 2 weeks (eg. 1st of November) - release on 19th November or 26th November Andrew, Jonnor, are you okay with that? I haven't gone through the list of all bugs yet; do you think any of the current bugs are blockers? IMO the git master branch is in a good condition. There are many open bugs that should be fixed but IIRC almost no regressions since 0.9.1. Luckily, we have users who productively work with the git version. Now is a good time to remind us about your (least) favourite bug! :-) Sadly my personal MyPaint TODO list has grown to the point where it is starting to get useless. I hope I can still get one thing or two done before 1.0, though. We could also use some brush collection updates. The default brush collection has been pretty stagnant since 0.9. I tend to blame myself, though, for the lack of new brush engine features ;-) To everyone who edits brushes, please set the "opaque linearize" brush setting to the default value of 0.9 before you start tuning.
