Hello, I'm the developer of this animation branch for MyPaint: http://wiki.mypaint.info/Animation#X-Sheet_MyPaint_branch
As that wiki page states, I want to improve my code to make x-sheet a free/libre animation tool that can be widely usable. But of course this cannot be in MyPaint's mainline, due to it's minimalistic approach (I love it). So there are two paths that I can follow: a) make a plug-in system for MyPaint or b) start my own application. b) has the advantage that I don't need to hack in the layer's stack. But I would like to open discussion on making a plug-in system. What do you think? Is this in MyPaint's plan? I would like to code it if there is consensus.
