hi Andrew The wiki hosting was offered to us by Andrei Thorp (Garoth in #mypaint IRC) - techmight.com. We do have ssh access.
I have never set up a mediawiki, I think Garoth has done it mostly. But I did install the "ConfirmEdit" mediawiki extension, and set it up to display a textual captcha. When I notice a spambot on the wiki, I change the captcha question by editing public_html/w/LocalSettings.php. I only had to do that two or three times so far, we got almost no wiki spam now. I send you the access data via private mail in case you want to look into the problem yourself. I CC Garoth since he might know better what to do. -- Martin Renold On Thu, Jan 05, 2012 at 06:34:41PM +0000, Andrew Chadwick wrote: > I'd like to start up a project for making icons for use within MyPaint > via the wiki, explaining what our design guidelines are and sharing > resources and templates in a friendly way. > > Unfortunately I can't proceed with this because our icon files are in > SVG format and the MediaWiki instance on http://wiki.mypaint.info > doesn't seem to know how to convert them to PNG thumbnails.
