Hi,
I had a running system (suse Linux 7.1, php 4, mysql 3.22.32 and apache
1.3.12).
but the mysql daemon is running in root.
10 minutes before i tried to add a new user in the table user of the db
mysql. but i got no results.
so, i tried again.
-nothing!
then i killed the mysql daemon.
and now i couldn't start the mysql daemon again!
The exact error message is:
Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /usr/local/mysql/var
[2] Done bin/safe_mysqld
washington:/usr/local/mysql # mysqld daemon ended
ANY IDEAS???
