I am running windows 2000 pro with Access 2000. I installed mySQL 3.23.36 and myodbc. After installation, I reconfigured the mysqlwinadmin to use the mysqld-opt, overwwrote the ini and it shows a connection and the use of tcp-ip, so I assume there is a server connected. I have tried every imaginable type of connection string and object and Access will not recognize the host server. Any idea's ?????????????????????????????? I need to connect because we will be using mysql on 2 of my websites and I will have to upload, download constantly with the database on the the web site.
