Is it possible to enable compression between replicating database servers? I'm assuming that there is already compression code in place, because of the need to link with the compression libraries on the client end sometimes. Compressing the replication connection has certain advantages where the connection speed is slow, and the servers at either end are not being stressed due to slow data transfer.
