Hi, I have installed mysql and loaded mysqld, but I cannot connect to it with mysql because it gives an error telling that "it cannot connect using socket /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock".
I have checked that dir, but I don't have that socket file there. Please tell me how to create it. I don't know Linux very well, so please excuse my ignorance in this field. Thank you.
