Hi all,

I'm resending this message with a different subject
line, in the hopes that someone who Knows (a MySQL team
member :-)? will be able to answer it.

   I've successfully used 'mysqlshow db_name %'
under MySQL v3.23, but under 3.22.20a, it returns the
message:

"Cannot list fields in db: db_name, table: %: You have an
error in your SQL syntax near '%' at line 1"

Did the wildcard feature get included in a particular
version? If so, which version? I'll have to test for the
version in my script, and do a work around. It seems that
under 3.22.20a, we don't need the % to show tables that have
underlines, and in fact, the % doesn't work.

   Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Peter
