Hi, Just upgraded my mysql installation from 4.0.18 to 4.1.14, and i'm seeing some odd things with mysql authentication. We use some scripts to change/add mysql users. In this script there's an option to allow 'external' connections, this is implemented by using Host="%" in the user and db table. Previously this would allow both localhost and external network connections, however after the upgrade this now only allows external connections. Could someone comment if this is a regression or if I should use another method ?
