It is rather a shame if the method of reply is all that it takes to turn you off the list. Personally the content of the list is far more important to me.
There are forums if you want a web interface. Having been through this argument on another list recently, I can say there is no pleasing all of the people so we might as well get used to variety. But I would have thought that 99% of replies should go to the list, and personal replies are the exception - as has been pointed out here, and many times on other lists, a public answer benefits many people. However, if the subject has been addressed and the decision made, then there's just no point in this topic. I guess those of us that don't like it, or don't like people inadvertently posting personal replies thanks to that decision, should simply find another list. -- Jason Teagle [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
