Hi,

/usr/local/bin/safe_mysqld must do good with MySQL 3.23.49.

The error may be due to either one.

a. configuration file set up
b. data directory - anything removed/modified - not enough disk space
c. log file size

Thanks,
ViSolve DB Team.
