Also we have to make updates to both locations simultaneously and our application is provided with locking mechanism for updating records and resolving conflicts to update same record. Also please give the details about term active/active and how it could be implemented? It can be possible to update the data to both servers and keep another for reporting only purpose. Is it possible to make HO as Master and Reporting as Slave and Site Server as another master and same Reporting as Slave. i.e. Reporting will be the salve for both masters in Replication?
