I just found that I can make phpMyAdmin display the processlist very conveniently. There I see db Command Time State Info pferdezeitung Delayed_insert 27 Waiting on cond staticStrings Well, I know I experimented with INSERT DELAYED on table staticStrings, but what does this thing do there for that long? All other threads are sleeping. Something wrong here? I thought it should perform it's insert when there is idle time, which is now.
