FVFM (thats: From the Very Fine Manual )

You may have the above line split by your mail reader,  just cut and
paste the two havles in or go to:
http://www.mysql.com/documentation/mysql/bychapter/
and Select chapter 4.5.5.4 Show Variables

For example my.cnf files see your source code directory for mysql then
change into 'cd ./support-files'  adn looke for things like 'huge.cnf'
etc.
