Dear Monty and all,
In my application, on an SGI IRIX 6.5, I need to compile a program
which uses MySQL API to connect to our MySQL server. I need the -64
option to complie
my program since the lib I use are all compiled with that option. So I
need to
compile the MySQL client with '-64' option. Here is the error that I
saw.
ld64: FATAL 12 : Expecting 64-bit objects: ./lib/libmysqlclient.a is
32-bit.
Since the MySQL installation was done from a binary tar ball, I have no
source code to compile with. I searched the www.mysql.com web site in
the 'download' area but could not find any source code. Could someone
tell me where I can find it? Also can we have a tar ball that contains
MySQL compiled with '-64' option?
