I need help in how to use MsSQL++ under Borland C++ Builder 5.

I managed to install MySQL and tests seem to indicate that it works fine.

I tried to read the manuals but I find the learning curve a bit steep. I am
not very experienced in terms of linker options. I'm sure if I examine all
the library code I will figure it out but I'm short on time and need quick
results.

My main thing is access via MySQL++. There is 3 download, one is version
1.7.1 for Borland C++ 5, another for VC and a version 1.7.9. Wich one do I
use? The Borland version seems out of sync (1.7.1 vs 1.7.9) and there is a
mention saying its been untested and is very beta. How solid is it?

In short my question is whats the quickest way to get a small project
working that I can build upon? I just want the simplest way to make this
working. Then I will be able to gradually expand my knowledge about it.

Thx for the help in advance...
