Can I safely use MIT Threads on OSF? Do I need to update the thread libraries? I have read and re-read the OSF section of the manual, but it is very vague as to what will work and what won't. I have successfully compiled 3.23.40 on Solaris Intel and also compiled 3.22.27 on the OSF1 - that version has recently taken to not responding, which is why I am now desparate to get the (what was) latest version up and running.
