Hi folks, I'm trying to compile mysql on a Solaris 8 box with gcc. When I run compile for reasons I do not understand configure thinks the g++ compiler is running as a cross compiler which it is not. This causes the test for the return type of sprintf to fail with the message "can not run test program while cross compiling."
Has anyone else run into this or am I special? Is there a fix/workaround? -- -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Peter L.
