Hi, I am trying to get MySQL 3.22 (off a CD from a manual) running on Windows 98. I have installed it on my C drive and am trying to run the following command from DOS:
c:\mysql\bin>mysqld --standalone I can get to the mysql\bin directory, but when I type the mysqld --standalone, I get a Bad Command or file name error. Any suggestions on how I resolve this problem and continue??
