Dear Mike, I recommend that you 1. stop waiting for response from the user group 2. 'find' every occurance of *MySQL* in you machine 3. Delete it. 4. download the latest version 5. attempt to rpm -inh the new version 6. upon failure, go back to using MS Access and windoz
