My ISP, WebHosting, has been hosting one of my sites for about 5 years. I use MySQL to support the site and build the pages. About a month ago, I started getting the following message when I tried to use the command line interface:
mysql> select * from Properties; ERROR 1016: Can't open file: 'Properties.ISM'. (errno: 138) The techs at the ISP say that they don't know what happened, but they couldn't help me! Does anyone know what might have happened, and, if so, could you tell me how to fix it? I've got about 20Meg of data that I don't want to loose (no, I DON'T have a backup! That's what I was trying to do when this happened. Any suggestions? -- Bruce Hodo - Webmaster, GetAwayNetwork, Inc. ==Providing unique vacation information on the World Wide Web== For Villas, Resorts, Hotels, Air/Hotel Packages, Charter Airfares =============== Visit us at http://getawaynet.com =============== --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
