Hi James, I'm not a MySQL expert, and I don't have a lot of experience with finite optimizations of the programs you are using. However, I do have a little bit of experience with making money. If you are having to spend this much effort on getting stability, maybe it would be more cost effective to spend $1000 on another machine and move MySQL to that?
