shell> groupadd mysql
shell> useradd -g mysql mysql
shell> gunzip < mysql-VERSION.tar.gz | tar -xvf -
shell> cd mysql-VERSION
shell> ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql

Receiving message: ./configure: not found

Should this script be included in the unzipped directory. Or is it native
to the OS?

Please help.....
