Why do we not seem any closer to getting 3.23.50, or > 3.23.51? the build procedure was reorganized in May. MySQL AB has already built 3.23.51 binaries for Linux and most other platforms. The release .51 will come out when the new build master completes the builds on the remaining platforms. As far as I know the prerelease at http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-3.23-pre.html has worked well also on Linux, but we know that it contains a memory overwrite bug in gethostname_r. That is why it has not been declared stable on Linux. On other platforms the release 3.23.50 is a regular stable release. > Thanks > Mark Regards, Heikki Tuuri Innobase Oy --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
