I tried to automate the starting and stopping of the mysql service upon reboot. I created the two links for mysql.server to the associated rc.d directories(rc0.d and rc3.d). I rebooted my RH 7.2 box and nothing happened. The real kicker is that I cant even manually start mysqld "mysqld start". Im completely lost here, please help!
