Perhaps those posting obnoxious RTFM responses to Scott's question should actually take a look at the "Versions" box at the side of the MySQL front page and see that there's no longer any mention of MySQL Classic. Where previously there was a choice between MySQL Classic and MySQL Pro (replacing the 3.23 choice between MySQL and MySQL Max), there's now a choice between MySQL Pro and MySQL Max.
The page at http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-pro-4.0.html explains the difference between Classic and Pro, but the page at http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-max-4.0.html explains nothing. And there's no mention of Classic at all on the downloads page (http://www.mysql.com/downloads/index.html). It's not surprising that people are confused about the names.
