Hi!
I am typing the following at the command line to change the value of a
variable:
mysqld --set-variable max_allowed_packet=16000000
And get the following message:
021030 17:08:34 Can't start server: Bind on TCP/IP port: Address
already in use
021030 17:08:34 Do you already have another mysqld server running on
port: 3306 ?
021030 17:08:34 Aborting
021030 17:08:34 ./bin/mysqld: Shutdown Complete
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Renato
