Ok, I've added to my PATH /usr/local/MySQL/mysql-3.23.-52-pc-linux-gnu-i686/bin and at least I'm getting this now $ mysql Error 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111) I'm not sure what it is trying to tell me, btw, I'm running MySQL on the same machine that I'm trying to log into, so I don't know if this makes a difference or not. thanks again -Chris ===== ***************************************** GAIM ID: cmmiller1973 ***************************************** __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
