Hello, I am running MySQL on my local Windows 2000 box and I am experiencing extreme slowdowns. I have an application that writes query data to MySQL using two, separate threads. After writing 2000-3000 records, all of a sudden, MySQL goes to 98% CPU usage and throughput drops to 1 update every 2 seconds. I am running MySQLD-NT (3.23.52). I have copies the MEDIUM.CNF file for use.
Any ideas on what I can do to prevent this from happening? FYI, it does not appears to be an I/O problems, as the hard drives are idle when this happens.
