Hi I have been facing this problem since from many months. The problem is that when i try to connect mysql from the remote place using mysqld -h 192.168.1.1 -u temp -p it ends up with the error ERROR 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query As in the list i have tried increasing the MAX_PACKET_ALLOWED but the problem remails same. When i execute mysqladmin -i1 processlist status when the request from the remote client reaches the server the server dies. Since i am using the mysql fo accounting purpose please help me out to solve this problem which is severe. Thanks in advance
