Hi, In the DOS database (EDIBASE) I use at home, each organization is seperate, I exported all data as a text file, then I had to create individual web pages for each one. I have a list of each numbered web page. I would like to have only one database, instead of changing individual ones as needed. It would be nice if I could do, let say an EXCEL file, then just change that file, then FTP to a site somewhere where it gets reindexed and shows only one entry per search.
Did I confuse anyone, check our website to see how it is running now. Thanks again Norm Rodney Broom wrote: > > From: Norm Lamoureux <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > ...700 individual web pages that EXCITE does a search for... > > Are these web pages actual individual files, or are they simply information in a >database someplace that needs to get displayed? > > > I don't know whether my server has these programs, I can check. > > I would doubt that the server is going to have any of your DOS software installed. >I'd be willing to bet money that you are going to have to port this data yourself. >Since you aren't funded, you may want to just take a brute force aproach.
