Hi,

You got part right, the database I use at home is Edibase for DOS, the
program has been updated for Windows, too expensive for that and the web
plug in ($5,000.00 I think) I am trying to port it over to a Windows
Database. I downloaded the lastest version of MySQL the other day but it
all looks greek to me, not like a database like ACCESS or Alpha Five. So
that is why I came to this mailing list for help. I was told that they
might be a PGP?? add on so I can do searches on a web site.

Our current ISP won't let me put a SQL program on and we are not rich
enough to get a stand alone machine to run a server (I am still using a
486 for the office, but I use my P700 anyway.) I think I might be able
to export my data as a csv file so I can import into another database. I
have been using the DOS database for over six years now, and it is such
a pain to copy and paste stuff into Front Page. There has to be another
way.

Thanks again,

Norm
