I would suggest having

 EmpTable (PRIMARY KEY=empID)
 EventsTable  (PRIMARY KEY=eventID)
 AttendantsTable (PRIMARY KEY=[empID,eventID])

>From there you can build queries to find persons who attended an event
or which events a person went to.
