Hello, I've been looking through the source code for version 4.0.10-gamma trying to discern how exactly this thing runs by tracing back through the various inits() but because of how poorly it has been documented its slightly overwhelming to figure out what structures belongs to what modules or elements of the program. My specific longterm goal is to hack the libmysqld so that I can run mysql like Microsoft's desktop edition Sql server. My original plan was to hotwire the engine so that it would listened to tcp/ip traffic from the localhost so that I could use ado.net. Unfortunately I underestimated how hard this would be.
If no one has a faq, white paper, or even diagram listing how the program is structured atleast could someone point me to the socket thread and that section of the code so I can know where to focus my attention. Sincerely, DjW __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
