"SQL is designed for computer novice to manipulate database" So how do the
experts do it ?

Depends on what the requirement for a dB is, other developers might use it
not the original builder.

If the wysiwyg of Access was frustrating then phpMyAdmin is going to turn
the user mad.

With mysql front going a bit, I'd suggest getting the MySQL CC instead, more
of an app opposed to phpMyAdmin which is ok, but a pain for real use and sql
script management.

I'm trying to understand, if there is experience of building dBase IV and
Paradox dB's buy hand, why ask about SQL as it is a language (well a
specification for one) opposed to MySQL.

Surely the nature of dB's and what/how they are used is understood from
previous knowledge of working with the others

Jerry
