I wonder if anyone has encountered this problem before and has any ideas. I need to run programs on a linux cluster that make client connections to an mysql database on a different server. this linux cluster is set up where only the main node has an internet connection. so the problem is how make it possible for programs running on the internal nodes to make connections to the mysql server.
