I have a server like 8way Intel Pentium 4 Xeon processor with 12GB RAM and 1TB harddisk space.
All the tables size are over 10GB and they have over 100mm records.
Could some one help me get an appropriate mysql configuration(my.conf) file for the machine.
I understand ther are lots of factors depends on it to get a steady working configuration.
All I need is some model configuration. I think later on I can tune thar up.
