Hi I'm trying to search for some tables in a database, that contains only certain parts of info. I have about 3000+ records, and I'm looking for all the records that has +27-21, from my "phone" column, where the "phone" column contains phone numbers in the format of "+27-21-564 7389" or "+27-11-661 9000"
My statement is as follows: select compid,company,phone from companies where (phone="+27-21-*"); And it doesn't return any records. What am I doing wrong?
