This is down to the OS. As MySQL is multy threaded its all down to SMP support.

It does not appear to support such functionality. Maybe this is intentional, or I missed something in the manual. I have a 4 way Intel server that I'd like to be able to contain certain user's queries to certain processors. Does anyone know of a method/tricks/techniques to achieve this? RedHat Linux 9 MySQL 3.23.54 Thanks in advance, Tony -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
