Ok. I'm stumped. If I'm reading the manual correctly, you were right about not hving to specify the host..the only difference between your version and the manual is that they use single quotes around the user name but I can't see how that makes any difference. I normally just specfiy hosts because using wildcards for hosts makes me nervous - hey, even paranoid people have enemies :)
