Hi all, Does anyone have a list of what affect ALTER TABLE has on each different type of MySQL table?
If I have read correctly, ALTER TABLE locks MyISAM tables until completeion. Am I right on this? How about InnoDB and BDB? If memory serves correctly, HEAP doesn't support ALTER TABLE.
