Huh? CPUs have little if anything to do with disk I/O operations. I'd bet you $1000 that a 1 CPU Pentium II with the right disk subsystem could easily outrun a much "faster" 4 CPU Pentium III system with a single IDE disk in it. Jeremy -- Jeremy D.
