I'm a new user in MySQL. I've got a problem: The server told me that the database is blocked because of many bad connections. It needs to be unblocked. May I do that from my computer or it has to be done from the server?
I am guessing, but it sounds as though you may need to issue a FLUSH HOSTS statement. Check this section in the manual:
