I think you may have introduced the >From typo

! Try looking at a mailbox in a text editor -- you'll notice that the string 'From ' occuring at the beginning of a line is used as the message separator.
Thus when that string occurs within a message body, it needs to be escaped, historically (*) by prefixing it with '>'.
* might be specified by the RFC, don't recall at the moment...
